My name is Emily Blakemore, and I’m a mother who has experienced the unimaginable pain of losing my children to the very system that was supposed to protect them. My journey with Child Protective Services (CPS) and the family court system has been one of heartache, resilience, and unwavering determination. After losing my daughter to CPS at just one year old due to false allegations made by my own family, I spent over a decade fighting to get her back. In the process, I had to endure the loss of another child, the severing of my parental rights, and the ongoing destruction of my family.
Throughout this ordeal, I discovered how broken and corrupt the current CPS and family court systems truly are. These systems are often driven by profit, power, and control—rather than by the well-being of children and families. I've lived the nightmare that so many parents face, but I also learned how to fight back. I fought for my rights, I fought for my children, and I fought for justice.
I’ve faced some of the darkest days of my life, including the loss of my parental rights, the death of my hopes, and the betrayal of the very people who were supposed to support me. But I also found a way to rise above it, with the love and support of my husband, and my unshakable belief that I can make a difference—not just for myself, but for others who are facing the same battles.
Now, I have a new purpose: to help other parents who are caught in the same devastating situation with CPS and family courts. Through this podcast, I share my personal insights and experiences, offering advice, guidance, and hope. I provide information that could save families from losing their children to a broken system, and I work tirelessly to create awareness and change.
My goal is simple but profound: I am determined to initiate change through petitions, awareness campaigns, and a public vote on the next ballot. I want to see the creation of a new, compassionate child protective service and a family court system that truly puts children’s needs and parents’ rights first. The current system is too often fueled by corruption, and it is tearing families apart. I believe it’s time for a system that genuinely cares for children and works for the best interests of families, not for the sake of power or profit.
Although I have not yet seen my children again, I carry the strength of their memory and the hope of reuniting one day. For now, I fight for justice—for myself, for my children, and for all families caught in this broken system.
Join me in my mission to bring change to CPS and family courts. Together, we can protect our children, preserve our families, and build a future where parents’ rights are respected, and children are truly safeguarded.
